[BUG] [Spoilers] Boss ultimate persists after boss dies

Due to my awesome load out, i managed to kill all the crew members in the first boss fight, so at the second boss fight, the boss was in AI mode. I whittled the boss down to low health with all my anti-ship drones when the energy surge indicator goes on. The boss then was killed and warps away. The boss's ultimate move (mass drones), however, continued to attack me. It did not stop. I barely managed to warp away (still won the game though).

A few more details: the ship I was using was the torus. The boss was killed right before all the drones spawned or soon after, I'm not sure which. And once again, the boss was in AI mode.
