FTL soundtrack

I was wondering: will the FTL soundtrack ever be available for download? It's pretty awesome.

Hey guys,

Glad you're enjoying the soundtrack so much. I'll be selling the entire soundtrack on both Steam and Bandcamp. Each dynamic track will be split into its Explore and Battle versions, so you can hear everything in its entirety. I'll probably also include a couple of tracks that didn't make it into the final game and maybe some other bonus stuff.

Would you guys be interested in the soundtrack including a short writeup on the making of?

Oh, and though I don't have the final price ironed out yet, I can tell you it'll be very inexpensive.

I'd most definitely be interested in the writeup. I like to think that someday I will make music for a game that I make 100% myseff. Dunno if it'll really happen, though, heh.

Did anyone find the Music to remind you of The new Battlestar Galicttica

Good ears! While they gave me pretty much maximum creative freedom, Matt and Justin did mention that they loved Battlestar Galactica's emphasis on heavy, somewhat exotic percussion for the battle scenes. So I incorporated a lot of that sound into FTL. Plus I just love loud drums.
