edit: If I can run FTL, i seriously doubt anyone out there won't be able to.
So you run it with a 1280x720 resolution I assume...

It's too bad that there's still a few toasters that aren't compatible with higher resolution monitors...
I always have this great idea to post about when reading a thread, but I always seem to loose the subject while writing a reply, and end up not saying anything at all. I should sleep more. Is that a cookie?

When the beta started I had to make an issue on getsatisfaction because my monitor wasn't that resolution and thus full screen etc was broken. Luckily I managed to force my monitor to accomadate that resolution if I had large borders at the top and bottom, and then that monitor broke so now I'm using my TV, which is 1080.

Cut and paste direct from Steam's page on it:
PC System Requirements
Minimum:

OS:Windows XP / Vista / 7
Processor:2 GHz
Memory:1 GB RAM
Graphics:1280x720 minimum resolution, OpenGL 2.0 Support, and recommended dedicated graphics card with 128 MB of RAM
Hard Drive:175 MB HD space
Some integrated Intel HD graphics cards have been known to work but are not officially supported.
Overall, not very high system requirements, I could see the main problem being the 1280x720 minimum resolution, which will cause trouble if you have an old monitor that can only handle 1024x800.
